Mary Lou Ansell (nee Yoder), 83, of Vermilion, died Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Mercy New Life Hospice after a lengthy illness.
She was born September 22, 1942, in Somerset, PA and had been a Vermilion resident for over 62 years.
Mary worked as a seamstress for many companies, including Dalton's and Invacare.
She enjoyed life's simple pleasures including, bowling, sewing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Thomas Ansell; children, David Ansell and Deborah (Brian) Berk; and her grandchildren, Joseph Ansell, Trevor and Dylan Berk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Dorothy (nee Lazure) Yoder and her son, Douglas Ansell.
Private interment will take place at Rugby Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association 3 Summit Park Drive, #550 , Independence, OH 44131.
