Mary Jean Bihary

Mary Jean Bihary, 96, of Lorain, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Mill Manor Nursing

home.

She was born October 11, 1927 in Lorain, Ohio, and lived in the home she was born and raised in her

entire life.

Jean worked for TV Guide Magazine as an executive security. Her career lasted from the 1950s to the

late 1980s, and she was fortunate to have met many celebrities.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Lorain. Jean enjoyed reading, puzzles, traveling, tatting,

and spending time with family and friends. She loved dogs, especially her Yorkie, Misty.

Jean is survived by: Nancy (Jim) Collins of DeLand, FL, Diane (Larry) Jones of Lorain, OH, Janet Pavlic

of North Royalton, OH, Terry (Allison) Bihary of Dallas, GA, Dan (Dawn) Bihary of Lorain, OH, Gary

Bihary of Dallas, TX, Robert (Denise) Dion of Readsboro, VT, Maryann DeMarco of North Adams, MS,

Joan Bihary of Dallas, TX, Pat Stanislawski of North Adams, MA, Robert and Elizabeth Johnson of

Lorain, OH, and many grandnieces, grandnephews and their children.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Stephen Clarence and Nellie May (nee Sarr) Bihary and

siblings: Robert Bihary, Helen Bihary, Harold Bihary, and Gerald Bihary.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst with

Reverend Don Frantz officiating.
