Mary Elaine Cymbalski

Mary Elaine Cymbalski (nee Tolgo), 91, of Roseville, MI passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024 at her home after a brief illness.

She was born December 6, 1932 in Whitney Township, MI and had been a lifelong resident of Michigan.

She grew up on the family farm in Turner, MI. She and her siblings shared a childhood filled with farm chores and adventure. Mary came to Detroit to work as a nanny at age eighteen.

Mary dedicated over 20 years working as an Executive Secretary at the  Book Building Company, Lambrecht Realty Company and retiring from Trident National.

Mary was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had quite the green thumb and loved tending to her vegetable garden, growing delicious tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, and strawberries.

She is survived by her children, Joseph G (Susan) Cymbalski, Robert S (Jennifer) Cymbalski, Dianna M (Jonathan) Clark,  Marianne H (Gregory) Martini; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Sara (Dan), Patrick (Jenna), Andrew (Christine), Gregory, Mary Scott (Jake), Julia (Stefan), Gregory (Kira), Michael, Kristina, Jaclyn (Gerry), Evangelos (Lauren); and great grandchildren, Cameron, Nolan, Meredith, Arthur, Baylee, Henry, Laurel, Thomas, Luka, Lennon, Weston and Kollyns.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Thelma (nee DeRosia) Tolgo and siblings, Edna Tyrrell, Betty Dombrowski, and George Tolgo.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 am at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
