Mary T. Diosy, (Stec) 91, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Inn at Chapel Creek, Vermilion after a 6 year illness.. She was born September 17, 1918 in Chester, PA and had lived in Vermilion since 2005. She had lived in Grafton for 50 years. She worked as an assembler at General Industries, Elyria for 12 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Grafton, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and sewing. Survivors include her daughters, Rosemarie (Earl Max) Craig of Huron, and Cheryl (Douglas) McCallum of Issaquah, Washington; 3 grandchildren, Glenn Craig, Kenneth Craig, and Brienne McCallum; 4 great grandchildren, Tori, Vonda, and Carly Craig and Lauren Traina; sisters, Rose Zaffer of Elyria, Catherine Dany, Ashville, NC, Helen Jankowski, Seven Hills, Bertha Fobell, and Beatrice Zigon both of Middleburg Heights. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Catherine (nee Ruskzika) Stec, her husband, Paul Diosy, 1998; sisters, Victoria Shaver, Irene Ford; and brothers, Stanley Stec and Ludwig Stec.
