Mary Lou Kaderbek (nee MacLean), 59, of Sheffield Lake, died Monday, January 18, 2010 at Specialty Hospital, Amherst. She was born August 9, 1950 in Salem, Massachusetts, lived most of her life in Vermilion, and had lived in Sheffield Lake the last 7 years. She was a self employed attorney, was a real estate broker, had her own contracting firm in Vermilion and was a licensed electrician.. Her passion was working for Voices for Children, an agency of the Domestic Relations Court that recruits adult volunteers who act as advocates for children in court. She began as a volunteer, and had became program director in 1994. She enjoyed boating and pets. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Rob Kaderbek; her son, Rob Kaderbek, Jr. both of Sheffield Lake; brothers, Dean, Bob, Chester and Don MacLean all of Vermilion and Richard MacLean of Huron; her mother, Eva MacLean of Vermilion and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Chester MacLean. Friends may call Friday, January 22, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion Funeral services will be Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Father Jim Holmer, pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
