Mary M. Langham (nee Mundy), 81, of Vermilion, died Sunday, March 20, 2011 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a short illness. Born December 31, 1929 in Nelsonville, OH, she had been a Vermilion resident for the past 47 years moving from Lorain. Mary was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational, Vermilion and AMVETS Post #22 Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing BINGO, ceramics, making candy, cake decorating, and flower arranging. She is survived by her daughter, Myra Al Kurabi of Vermilion; sons, Kenneth (Jeannette) Martin of Lorain, Wayne (Theresa) and Stanley Langham both of Vermilion; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Langham, Dec. 22, 2010; daughter, Sandra Lee Anderson, Dec. 18, 2010; son, Michael Martin, 1957; parents, George and Nellie (nee Skiver) Mundy; and a sisters, Rae Gross, Dorothy Mundy, and Flossie Bagley. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 10:00 until 12 Noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 12:30 pm at the United Church of Christ Congregational, 990 State Street, Vermilion, OH. The Reverend Wendell Brooker will officiate. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
