Mary Louise Richardson

Mary Louise Richardson (nee Burt), 51, of Amherst, died Friday, February 24, 2017 at University Hospitals of Cleveland after a short illness. Mary was born May 19, 1965 in Amherst where she has been a life long resident. She graduated from Firelands High School. Mary had attended Firelands Baptist Church and had also been a 4H advisor for 13 years with the Brownhelm Perfection and Bits and Spurs 4H clubs. She enjoyed volunteering at Firelands Elementary School, crocheting, animals, and was an avid bowler. She belonged to the Lorain Women's Bowling Association, Lorain USBC, and the American Legion Aux., Amherst. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Billy Richardson of Amherst; daughter, Erika Richardson at home; and her mother, Dorothy (nee Maschinski) Burt of Amherst. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Burt; paternal grandparents, Steve and Bertha Uleski; and maternal grandparents, Victoria Cromwell and Anthony Maschinski. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Reverend Jim Cooper and Curtis Richardson will co-officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion. The family suggests memorial contributions to Power 4 Pink, P.O.
