Mary Ann Sofish

Mary Ann Sofish, 51, of Vermilion, died Friday, April 12, 2019 at her home after a sudden illness. She was born December 1, 1967 in Cleveland and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 24 years moving from Cleveland. Mary worked for Kingston of Vermilion both in housekeeping and as an STNA for 18 years. She loved working at Kingston of Vermilion and especially enjoyed all of the residence she cared for. Mary enjoyed going to the beach, her dachshunds, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her life long Companion, James Daily of Vermilion; daughter, Hannah (Christopher ) Gibson of Vermilion; grandchildren, Elijah and Emilia Gibson; and her brothers, Mark, William and Sam Sofish. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Virginia (nee Cox) Sofish. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 4:00 pm until the time of the service at 6:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
