Mary Maxine Straight

Mary Maxine Straight (nee Bartrug), 88, of Norwalk, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a short illness. Mary was born February 7, 1925 in Burton, WV, She had been a Norwalk resident for the past 24 years moving from Bear, Delaware. She was a member of the New London Church of Christ where she had taught Sunday School. She enjoyed helping people, crocheting, quilting, baking and was loved by her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Gail Straight, Norwalk; sons, Robert Straight of Daytona Beach, FL, William (Shirley) Straight of Berlin Heights,,Terry (Barbara) Straight of Dover, DE, and Larry (Charlene) Straight of Washington, PA; grandchildren, Robin, Bobby, Billy, Michael, Andrew, Michelle, Patty, Tony, Danielle and Keith;, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Essie (nee Hixenbaugh) Bartrug; sister, Eileen Taylor and brother, Mike Bartrug Friends may call Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the time of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. at the Vermilion Church of Christ, 5116 Driftwood Dr., Vermilion, Ohio 44089.
