Mary R. Weber, 89 of Lorain, died Monday, May 18, 2009 at Community Health Partners in Lorain, following a sudden illness. She was born September 7, 1919 in Bannock, Ohio and lived in Lorain most of her life. She graduated from Lorain High School with the class of 1937B. Mary worked at the Lorain Garment Company ( Printz Biederman), U.S. Steel Kolbe Works and Petrie's Women's Wear Shop. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain. She is survived by her children, John R. Weber of Maryville, Tennessee and Betty Adams of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and 3 grandchildren, Ryan Harcher, Leah Harcher and Kandis Weber. She was preceded-in-death by her husband of 52 years, Robert L. Weber in 1995, parents, Thomas and Anna Bernas, brothers, Charles and Stanley Bernas and a grandson, Christopher Weber. Friends may call Thursday, May 21, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. Closing prayers will be said at the funeral home on Friday, May 22, 2009 at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. Reverend Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
