Mary Lou Ziemba

Mary Lou Ziemba (nee Coy), 79, of LaGrange, OH and formerly of Lorain, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at New Life Hospice Center after a short illness. Mary Lou was born June 27, 1934 in Canton, OH. She had been employed by various dry cleaning companies in Lorain, lastly with Crystal Clear Dry Cleaning. Mary Lou also worked in food service at the turnpike rest stop, and in food nutrition at the Lorain Community Hospital. She was a seamstress for several people in the Lorain area, and also taught sewing at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary School. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and bowling. 　 Mary Lou is survived by her children Scott (Vickie) Ziemba of Norwalk, OH, Elizabeth Ann (Richard) Weidman of Advance, NC, and Louis (Deana) Ziemba of LaGrange, OH; grandchildren Haley, Alysha, Lexi, Jacob, Elise, Ben, and Holley; brother Jack (Ross) Coy of Florida; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Ziemba on December 13, 1986, parents Owen and Gertrude (nee Janson) Coy, and brother Tim Coy. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 29th from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Dombrowski -Riddle Funeral Home & Cremation Center 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend Fr. Robert Glepko officiating. A luncheon will follow at the funeral home community room. Private interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
