Maryann Smath

Maryann Smath (nee Leight), 75, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center. 　 Maryann was born May 17, 1939 in Sharon, PA and had been a Lorain resident for most of her life. 　 She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching old movies, and crocheting. Maryann is survived by her husband Edward Smath; daughter, Theresa Smath of Lorain; grandchildren Jaedon, and Addison Smath; sister Sharon (Nick). 　 She was preceded in death by her parents and infant grandson Riley Smath. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 13th from 5-8 P.M. at the Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. A short prayer service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
