Marye Shibley

Marye Louise Shibley, (nee Wahl) 91, of Lorain, died Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at Anchor Lodge Retirement Village, Lorain. She was born December 25, 1911 in Norwalk, Ohio and has been a Lorain and Vermilion resident for the past 30 years. Mrs. Shibley enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Survivors include 2 daughters: Marylan Liszak of Oberlin, OH and Judy Mangan of San Diego, CA; 2 sons, Leon Shibley, Jr. of Elyria, OH and John Shibley of South Amherst, OH; 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Leon Shibley, Sr.; parents Frank J. and Minnie R. (nee Wehrle) Wahl, 2 sisters, Dorothy Dittler and Kathryn Quelhorse and 2 brothers, Edward and Clarence Wahl.. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
