Melissa Ann Morris

Melissa Ann Morris (nee Laska), 44, of Avon, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at her home. She was born May 31, 1965 in Fairview Park, had lived in Parma, New Jersey, Vermilion, and the last 8 years in Avon. She worked at ADP Payroll Processing in Watchung, New Jersey and Cleveland, Marco Polo Restaurant, New Jersey and Huntington Bank, Cleveland. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Avon and a former member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Parma. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and children, swimming, skiing and time at her beach house in Vermilion. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Geoffrey Morris of Avon; sons, Dalton Lloyd Morris, Drake James Morris, and Geoffrey Dylan Morris all at home; sister, Monique Ann Reed of Parma; brother, Michael (Michele) Laska, III of Seven Hills; several nieces and nephews; parents, Michael and Ruth (nee Jaworski) Laska of Parma; brother & sister in law, Ian & Heather Morris of Vermilion; and sister-in-law, Donna Morris, Vermilion Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Michael, Sr. and Jean Laska, Edward and Elizabeth Jaworski; mother in law, Freda Morris and brother in law, Paul Morris. Friends may call Sunday, January 24, 2010, from 4-7 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Monday, January 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. Father John A. Misenko, of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
