Melody Ann Deshuk

Melody Ann Deshuk, 71, passed away peacefully at New Life Hospice in Lorain, Ohio on March 11, 2024. She was born December 10, 1952 in Lorain, Ohio to the late Jack and Dorothy Yonis (nee Cutler).

Melody attended Vermilion High School and was then employed for many years at Lithonia Lighting Company in Vermilion, Ohio.  Melody and her husband, Michael, owned and managed Country Breeze Carryout in Vermilion, Ohio before retiring to a home in Grantsville, West Virginia in 2006.

Melody was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Michael Peter Deshuk, who passed away at their home in West Virginia in 2022.

Melody will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and pet owner.

Survivors include her children, Lance Deshuk (Charlene) of Vermilion, Ohio and Peter Deshuk also of Vermilion, Ohio; sister Robin Ward (Jimmy) of Wakeman, Ohio and nephew Dustin Redmond of Wakeman, Ohio. A niece Jennifer Williamson (nee Beetler) of Vermilion, Ohio and three grandchildren, as well as her dog, Stormy.
