Michael Branham

Michael Branham, 64, of Vermilion, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at his home following a brief illness. Michael was born July 16, 1952 in Pikeville, KY, and he had been a Vermilion resident for the past 49 years moving from Lorain. Michael worked as a statistical processor and developed many programs for the Ford Motor Company before retiring after 30 years. He attended the of Church of the Nazarene in Vermilion. He enjoyed farming, working on computer programs and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Christopher Branham of Vermilion, Oliver Jason (fiancé Sherri Browning ) Branham of Vermilion, and Jodi (Robert) Hatten of Lebanon Junction, KY, former wife, Guynith Branham of Vermilion; grandchildren, Danielle and Ashley Branham, Dillon, Seth, and Brandon Miller, and Samuel Hatten, and great-grandson, Gavin; brothers Jeffrey Branham, Gregory Branham, Ted Branham, and Fred Branham; sister Mary Mosely; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Juanita "Jackie" (nee Ward) Branham and 3 brothers in infancy. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 1, 2017, from 6- 9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion. Funeral services will be Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. The Reverend David Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove, Vermilion.
