Michael R. Kleckner

Michael R. Kleckner, 66, of Vermilion, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at New Life Hospice Center, Lorain after a short illness. He was born January 18, 1946 in Meadville, PA and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 20 years. Michael was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam Era. He was a millwright with ALCOA Aluminum for 34 years retiring in 2001. He attended Birmingham United Methodist Church. Michael enjoyed woodworking, boating, fishing and camping. Michael is survived by his wife of 45 years Kathy (nee Adzima); daughter Jeanne (John) Lytell of Rocky River; son David Kleckner of Cleveland; grandchildren Delia and John Michael Lytell; brother Jon Kleckner of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents Rex and Marion (nee Horne) Kleckner. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 10 from 3-7 P.M. at Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St., Vermilion. Private graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery.
