Michael A. Knott

Michael A Knott, 42, of Wakeman, died Thursday, February 1, 2007 at him home after a short illness. He was born May 30, 1964 in Amherst and was a lifelong Wakeman resident. He worked as a mechanic for Mullinax Ford in Amherst and had worked at Liberty Ford in Vermilion. He was a member of the Florence Township Fire Department. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, working around the house and being outside. Survivors include his son, Michael A. Knott of Amherst; parents, Paul B. and Shirley J. (nee Ronez); brother, Gary Knott of Wakeman; sister, Robin Scholl of Wakeman; 2 nephews; and his estranged wife, Jeanne Knott of Vermilion. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home. Reverend Paul Eaton, pastor of the Henrietta United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
