Michael Norris

Michael G. Norris, 63, of Sheffield Lake, died Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Oak Hills Nursing Home after a brief illness. He was born August 27, 1957 in Zanesville, OH and had been a Sheffield Lake area resident for over 20 years. Mike had worked several jobs and retired in 2019. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Cleveland Browns, grilling outside, and gardening. He is survived by his fiancée, Barbara Skaggs; brothers, Tommy Randales of Zanesville, Pat Norris of Dresden, and Timmy Norris of Dresden; sister, Tammy of FL; step children, Randy Skaggs of Grove City and Norma Skaggs of Sheffield Lake; and his grandchildren, Emma, Barbie, Nick, Heath, and Makhayla. He was preceded in death by his parents Kessel and Dorothy (Dillan) Norris and his sisters, Betsy Coon and Linda Alexander. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
