Michael Vincent Wiencke, 19, of Vermilion, died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at his home. Michael was born April 13, 1992 in Lorain and was a lifelong Vermilion resident. He worked as a baker for Apples Grocery Store in Sheffield Lake. He attended St. Mary Catholic Church and Harbourtown Community Church in Vermilion. He enjoyed video games, music, being with friends, cooking, hunting, poetry, and sculpting.. He is survived by his mother, Dawn Wiencke of Vermilion; step father, Aaron Baugh, Vermilion father, Vincent "Chas" Wiencke of Vermilion; brother, Luke Wiencke, Lorain; sister, Makenna Wiencke, Vermilion; maternal grandfather, Dan (Ruth) McCarthy, Norwalk, maternal grandmother, Andrea McCarthy, Vermilion; paternal grandparents, Jack and Colette Krill, Vermilion; God parents, aunt and uncle, Connie and Mike Werner, Vermilion great grandfather, Victor Cachat, Cleveland; aunts and uncles, Erin McCarthy and Joe Trinter,, Vermilion, Traci and Chuck Stoll, Vermilion, Ashley and Adam West, Vermilion, J.P. Krill III, Vermilion, and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, and by his great granparents. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Harbourtown Foursquare Community Church, 873 State Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Pastor Jim Cooper will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion. The family suggests memorial contributions to Harbourtown Foursquare Community Church, 873 State Street, Vermilion, Ohio 44089.
