Mitzi Ann Markel

Mitzi Ann Markel, 60, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Echoing Lake Residential Home. She was born October 10, 1959 in Amherst and had lived in Broadview Heights and Warrensville Heights before moving to Vermilion. Mitzi had attended Murray Ridge and worked at the Murray Ridge Center, Lorain. She enjoyed shopping, especially shopping for clothes. She is survived by her mother, Betty (nee Hartzog) Brill; sisters, Delise Markel, Lynn Markel, and Kimberly Boyer; and her step brother, Gary Brill. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Markel in 1999, Step father Dennis Brill in 2015, brothers Jack Donald and step brother David Brill in 2009. Private inurnment will take place at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst. Memorial contributions are suggested to Echoing Lake Residential Home, 3295 N Leavitt Rd, Lorain, OH 44053.
