Mona G Staszak

Mona G. Staszak (nee Caswell),91, of Vermilion, died , July 3, 2020 at Kingston Residence of Vermilion after a lengthy illness. She was born in Brighton, OH and moved to Lorain when she married Joseph Staszak in 1948. She resided in Lorain for 38 years before moving to New London where she had lived for 29 years. She had been a Vermilion resident for the past 5 years. Mona worked for Lorain Products as an electrical equipment assembler for 22 years retiring in 1986. She had been a member of First Baptist Church, New London and she enjoyed gardening, especially flowers. She also enjoyed crocheting doilies and afghans. Grandma Staszak's true love was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her son, Frank Allen (Barbara) Staszak of Vermilion; grandchildren, Melanie (Richard ) Timko and Joseph (Nicole) Staszak; and her great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Allison, Alexander and Gabriella. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Staszak; parents Merton and Helen (nee Canner) Caswell; brothers, Charles and Robert Caswell; and her sisters, Maxine Coward and Betty Carmen.
