Nancy Arlene Hite

Nancy Arlene Hite (nee Sidlo), 75, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born December 10, 1941 in Lorain and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 56 years moving from Lorain. Nancy graduated from Lorain High School and Lorain Business College. She had worked as a medical staff secretary for Good Samaritan Hospital, Sandusky for over 20 years. She was a member of Birmingham United Methodist Church where she played the piano. She was an accomplished pianist, starting at the age of 5. Nancy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and loved her cat Buttons. She is survived by her sons, Cole Hite of Brookpark and Paul (Kathleen) Hite of Sandusky; daughters, Coni (Lawrence) Dispenza of Vermilion and Kimberly (Robert) McKee of Raceland, KY; grandchildren, Brandon, Robert (Rebekah), Melody, Nathan, and Tyler; step-grandchildren, Jeff, Bryan, and Erica; step-great-grandchildren, Trent, Noah, Isaiah, and Catherine; great granddaughter, River Hope McKee; and her sister, Marsha Dobias of Vermilon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Hite in 2016; parents, Emmanuel and Bernice (nee Dettman) Sidlo; and her brother, Charles Sidlo. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Birmingham United Methodist Church, 15018 South Street, Wakeman, OH.
