Nancy Statford

Nancy Statford (nee Hurd ), 87, of Vermilion, died Friday, November 25, 2022 at her home after a lengthy illness.
She was born January 7, 1935 in Aurora, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 58 years moving from Elyria.
She was a member of St. Mary Parish, Vermilion, loved flowers and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Denise Malott of Lorain; Christine (Greg) Finley of Vermilion, Sean Statford of Vermilion, Justine (Mark) Outland of Williston, FL, and Jennifer Statford of Vermilion; grandchildren, Christopher Dalton, Gregory Finley, Collin Hohla, Courtney Hohla, Dominic Statford, Katie Pocztar, Jessica Dunn and Jenny Graham; 13 great grandchildren and sister, Betsy Slivkoff of CA.
She was preceded in death by parents, Paul Hurd and June (nee Wilkinson) , husband, Norman Statford; son, Christopher Statford; grandson, Nicholas Vincent Statford; and brother, Donald Hurd.
Private services will be held at a later date.
The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or , Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 6931 Arlington Road, Bethesda, MA 20814 .
