Nancy Thompson Clark

Nancy (Thompson) Clark, 67, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston, following a brief illness.

She is survived by her siblings, Sally Toran & husband Richard of Needham; Robert J. Thompson & companion Kathy Heyman of Wakeman, OH; and D. Susan Thompson of Lancaster; brother-in-law Darrel Tyler; her loving nieces, whom she affectionately referred to as “my girls,” nephews, extended family, friends, and her feline companion Etta.  She was pre-deceased by her sister Joanne Tyler.

Daughter of the late Isaac & Agnes (Klimosewski) Thompson, Nancy was raised and educated in South Amherst, Ohio.  She graduated from South Amherst High School, Lorain County Community College, and continued studies at Northeastern University.  Nancy spent her professional career as an accounts receivable manager for several senior care companies, most recently with Five Star Medical Billing in Newton.  Among her greatest pleasures, Nancy loved to travel with her sisters and was looked to for her research and planning skills to make all trips fun and entertaining.  She enjoyed summer vacations spent with family at the cabin on Hubbard Lake in Michigan.  An avid reader, Nancy was a dedicated supporter and long-time Friend of the Scituate Town Library.  Above all, she was a loving sister, aunt, and friend.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date and time.  Arrangements are entrusted to the care of: Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH 44089.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nancy Clark to: Friends of the Scituate Town Library, 85 Branch St., Scituate, MA 02066.  Online condolences may be placed at www.riddlefuneralhome.com
