Neva Gertrude Gee

Neva Gertrude Parker Gee (nee Cogar), 88, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Kingston Nursing Home  after a lengthy illness.

She was born December 1, 1933 in Orndoff, WV and had been a Vermilion resident for over 50 years.

Neva worked for Riverview Nursing Home and Kingston Nursing Home as a nurses aid.

She enjoyed gardening, embroidery, fishing with her husband and especially loved being with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Martin) Taylor of Lorain, Della Esther (Phil) Rognon of Vermilion, Wanetta (Art) Fruner of Oberlin; sons, Robert  (Gail) Parker of NC,  Delmas (Rosalie) Parker of WV, Jerry  (Cathy) Parker of Medina;  11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Opha and Della (nee Armentrout) Cogar;  1st husband, Natis Robert Parker; 2nd husband, Russell Gee; son, Duane "Skip" G. Parker; and sister, Nada McCourt.

The family will receive family and friends on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 10:00 until the time of service at 12:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.  Funeral The Pastor Jim Cooper will officiate.  Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
