Nicholas Statford

Nicholas Vincent Statford, 18 of Vermilion, died Tuesday, January 13, 2004 in Community Health Partners West after a life long illness with Cystic Fibrosis. He was born August 10, 1985 in Elyria, Ohio, and has been a life long Vermilion resident. He volunteered at Rainbows Babies and Children�s Hospital. He enjoyed drawing, reading, playing Nintendo and listening to music. He is survived by his mother and step father, Justine and Mark Outland of Vermilion; a brother, Dominic Statford of Vermilion; 2 step sisters, Jenny Outland of Amherst and Jessica Outland of Elyria; his grandmother, Nancy Statford of Vermilion; step grandmother, Betty Outland of Amherst, and several aunts, uncles and cousins . He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Norman Statford and his step grandfather, Robert T. Outland. The family will receive friends on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Friday, January 16, 2004, at 1 pm with the Reverend Nelson Beaver, pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church in Norwalk, officiating.
