Nicole Rae Riggs

Nicole Rae Riggs, 32, of Wakeman, died suddenly Monday, November 28, 2022 .

She was born January 27, 1990 in Lorain and had been a Wakeman resident for the past 10 years moving from Vermilion.

She graduated from Vermilion High School.  She enjoyed hair styling and her children.

Nicole worked for Ford Automotive  as a assembler  for the past 5 years.   She was a member of UAW #2000.  She also previously worked as a hair stylist for Fiesta Salon in Vermilion and Smart Stylist in Norwalk.

She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Melissa "Lisa"  Riggs (nee Corder) of Wakeman; daughter, Evelyn  Nestor;son, Jackson  Nestor; sisters, Patricia (Ryan) Lyczkowski of Wakeman, Danielle (Jeffrey Chapman) Riggs, of Wakeman, Deidre (Tadd) O'Neal, of North Fairfield and Alyssa Riggs of Wakeman; brother, Dennis (Amber Good) Riggs of Norwalk grandfather, Roy Riggs, Vermilion; several nephews, a niece, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Harrell and Thedford "George" and Evelyn Corder;  grandmother, Saranne Riggs; aunt,Tammy Corder and uncle, Allen Corder.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.  Funeral services will be Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11:00 am at North Lake Missionary Baptist Church, 323 North Lake St., South Amherst, Ohio. The Reverend Jayson Samons  will officiate.   Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
