Nora J. Brown (nee Keener), 75 of Vermilion, died Sunday, November 4, 2007 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain.. She was born December 25, 1931 in Strange Creek, West Virginia and had lived in Vermilion more than 50 years.. She worked for 17 years as a bus driver for Vermilion Local Schools and had also worked for Lawson's Milk Co. She enjoyed bingo, canning, cooking, gardening, family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Patty Canter of Vermilion; sons, Robert Brown of Charlotte, NC , James Brown of Vermilion, and Junior Vance of Virginia; 6 grandchildren, Toby, Matt, Tommy Canter and Megan, Sara, Ryan Brown; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Raymon, Jan 2, 1972; parents, Robert Lee and Rhodie Bell Keener; sister, Marie Deboard; brothers, Kess, Willard, John, Holt, Albert, and Roy Kenner; and . son-in-law, Thomas Canter. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
