Norma Jean Riley (nee Black), 70, of Vermilion, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at New Life Hospice after a lengthy illness. She was born January 26, 1946 in Lorain and had been a life long Vermilion resident. Norma worked for Vermilion City Schools as a school bus driver for 20 years. She enjoyed painting with oils and acrylics, being outside, tending to her flower beds, and loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Raimie Riley-Gaudiello; sons, Jesse Joe (Jenn) Riley and Raymond "Matthew Riley; grandchildren, Raymond and Patrick Riley, Shawn Molnar, Matty Allgauer, Nathan Gaudiello, Jacob, Jayla, Jacy, and Jessa Riley; brother, Henry "Hank" Black; niece, Renee Dellisanti; and nephews, Randy, Pete, Tony, and Joe Dellisanti, and David Black. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Riley, in 2010; her parents, John and Norma (nee Berkette) Black; sisters, Margie Dellisanti and Linda Lee Accord; and brothers, Gary Black, Don and his wife, Alberta Black, Leslie "Butch" Black, Miland Black, and Bernie Black. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 3-7 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 11:00 am. The Reverend Dave Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
