b. December 4, 1953

Norman Joseph Skinner, 49, of Lorain, was stricken suddenly at his home Monday, August 18, 2003. He was born December 4, 1953 in Lorain, Ohio. He retired in 2000 from Statman Furniture Store in Lorain after 18 years and was working at the Marathon Gas Station in Lorain. Survivors include 5 sons, Robert Dennis of Lorain, Raymond "Joey" Dennis of Lorain, Randy Dennis of Amherst, and Norman Joseph Skinner, II of Lorain and William Ray Skinner, Lorain ; a daughter, Misty Gail Berlingeri of Sheffield Lake; 9 grandchildren; 4 Brothers, Jeffrey Allen Skinner of Easley, SC, Dale Douglas Skinner of Easley, Timothy Lewis Skinner of Elyria, Gary Lane Skinner of Lorain; 5 sisters, Marcia Stottlemire of Lake Station, IN , Susanna Ientile of Lorain, Deborah Hance of Lorain, Leslie Skinner of Lorain, Monica Jane McIntire of Lorain, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death were his parents, Laco Ray and Betty (nee Wright) Skinner, brothers: Ronald J. and Laco Ray Skinner, Jr. and sisters, Roberta and Billie Skinner. .(SERVIES ARE TENTATIVE)Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Funeral services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Friday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Norman Skinner Memorial Fund, FirstMerit Bank, Tower Blvd Office, 4200 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH 44053
