Olga Mazur, 86 of Lorain, died Monday, August 27, 2007 at her daughter's home in Lorain, following a lengthy illness. She was born May 24, 1921 in Lorain and attended Lorain schools. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain. She worked as a sales associate at the W.T. Grant Co. in the Lorain Shopping Plaza on Meister Road until its closing and then did child care for a number of years. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Barnard of Lorain; grandson, Jason Barnard; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded-in-death by her husband in 1954, Bruno Mazur, her parents, John and Mary (nee Orlinski) Bay, and a brother, Walter Bay in 2000. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 from 4-8 pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. Closing prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30am followed by at 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 418 W. 15th Street, Lorain. The Reverend Robert J. Glepko, pastor, will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery .
