Pamela S. Cashell

Pamela S. Cashell (nee Lowder ), 62, of Vermilion, died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Pamela was born April 19, 1952 in Lorain, OH and grew up in Vermilion. She moved to Clarksfield for 13 years before moving back to Vermilion where she has resided for the past 29 years. She had worked for Harrison Manufacturing, but her pride was taking care of her home. Pamela enjoyed crafts, baking, cooking, decorating her home, and was a great seamstress. She was always thinking of others. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Douglas R. Cashell; sisters, Brenda Lowder of Norwalk, Donna VanDusen of Vermilion, Dennisa Strader of Vermilion, and Sherri Gandee of Vermilion; brothers, Danny Lowder and David Lowder both of Vermilion; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, William "Red" Lowder and her grandparents who raised her, Goldie and Faris Lowder Sr. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
