Patricia Ann Bailey

Patricia Anne Bailey (nee Goodwin), 57 of Vermilion, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. She was born December 18, 1950 in Lodi, OH and has been a Vermilion resident for the past 25 years moving from Sandusky. She worked as a sales associate for Kaplan's Furniture and Sofa Express in Elyria, and Dewey Furniture, Vermilion. Pat graduated from Wellington High School in1969. She had been a member of First Baptist Church, Wellington. She enjoyed reading, baking, interior decorating, her dog Biggie and cat Tommy, and spending time with her children. She had also enjoyed volunteering with the Vermilion High School Choral Boosters and Drama Club. Survivors include her mother, Betty Ruth Goodwin of Sandusky; daughter, Erika Bailey of Westlake; son, Mark Bailey of New York, NY; brother, William Goodwin of Elyria; and sister, Janice Goodwin of Vermilion. Preceding her in death were her father, Lloyd Eugene Goodwin and brother, Michael Goodwin. Friends may call Friday, April 25, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion. Services will be held Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Riddle Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Alexander, pastor of First Baptist Church, Wellington, officiating.
