Patricia Ann Bowen (nee Reinshell), 78 of Vermilion, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 after short illness. She was born July 16, 1930 in Hocking Co., OH and has been a Vermilion resident for over 40 years, moving from Forest, OH. She graduated from Star Washington High School where she played the trumpet in the band. She then took many classes in flower arranging and became a flower show judge. She was a life volunteer at Lorain Community Hospital where she was very active in the 80's and 90's, during that same time, she also enjoyed serving tea and spaghetti lunches to the residents in various area nursing homes. Patricia was named the "official coffee maker" of the Experimental Aircraft Association in Huron. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motor home and also enjoyed her trip to Europe and Hawaii. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Maurice "Maury" Bowen, brothers: Vike Reinshell of Upper Sandusky, Dean Reinshell of Logan, OH, Gary Reinshell of Lancaster, OH and Lowell Reinshell of Logan, OH; sisters, Carol White of Canal Winchester, OH, and Mickey Anthony of Lithopolis, OH. Preceding her in death were her parents, Frank and Mary (nee Worthman) Reinshell , her child Patrice, sister Anita Hatem, and brothers, Frank Jr. and Lonnie Reinshell. Friends may call Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Chaplin Bob Chevalier will officiate.
