Patricia Ann Leonberger

Patricia Ann Leonberger (nee Garner), 69 of Vermilion, died Thursday, May 29, 2008 in Community Health Partners, Lorain, OH after a short illness. She was born March 18, 1939 in Blytheville, Arkansas and attended school in Charter Oak, Missouri and Canalou, Missouri. She has been a Vermilion resident since 1974 moving from Prince George Co., Maryland. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Vermilion where she was the book keeper for several years. She was also a member of the Eastern Stars, Madeleine Chapter #204 O.E.S. She enjoyed home decorating and traveling the states. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Loren Leonberger; mother, Sunshine Mick of Vermilion; sons, Vincent Bruce (Roberta) Leonberger of Chantilly, Virginia, and Timothy Scott Leonberger of Delaware, OH; grandchildren Katherine, Michael, and Jonathan; sister, Connie J. Goldcamp of Columbus, OH; brothers, James Luther Garner of Jacksonville, FL, and Joseph Marion Garner of Vermilion. Preceding her in death were her father James Luther Garner, and sisters: Montez Brixie, and Sondra Namath. Friends may call Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held Monday, June 2, 2008 at 10:30 am at the First Baptist Church 6716 West River Rd. Vermilion with Rev. Donald Resecker officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
