Patricia Metcalf

Patricia Ann Metcalf (née Satonick), age 83, of Vermilion, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Mill Manor Nursing Home.

Born on May 26, 1941, in Ellsworth, Pennsylvania, Patricia made Vermilion her home for the past 59  years, having moved from Columbus. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, whether it was feeding the cardinals, blue jays, and squirrels that visited her yard, or crocheting blankets for loved ones. Above all, Patricia treasured time spent with her family.

Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Larry W. Metcalf of Vermilion; her children, Christine (Thomas) Skelskey of Hilliard, Ohio, and Daniel Metcalf of El Cajon, California; three grandchildren, Nathan (Kendall) Skelskey, Nicholas Skelskey, and Andrew Metcalf; and her sister-in-law, Donna (Dan) Roof-Suain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Satonick, Sr., and Anna (née Dvorchak) Satonick, as well as her brothers, Robert M. Satonick, Michael J. Satonick, Jr., and Andrew Satonick.

In accordance with Pat's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Her family encourages everyone to celebrate her life in their own personal way, keeping her spirit close to their hearts.
