Patrick William Coles

Patrick William Coles, 59, of Vermilion, died suddenly, Sunday, February 2, 2014 at his favorite destination, St. Maarten. He was born March 17, 1954 in Sandusky, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 17 years. Patrick worked for Ford Motor Co in Sandusky and Lima for the past 25 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amherst and a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion. He was also a member of the UAW and enjoyed traveling and spending time on the beach. He is survived by his wife of 21 year, Deborah Coles; children: Matthew Coles of Sandusky, Erin Coles of Sandusky, and Amanda Quintana of Cleveland; and brothers, Edwin "Mick" (Lisa) Coles, Dennis (Cindy) Coles, and Brian (Valarie) Coles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Jean (nee Appell) Coles. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 from 10:00 am until the time of a prayers at 1:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange St., Vermilion. The Reverend Ron Brickner will officiate.
