Patrick C. Cumberledge, 74, of Vermilion, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Pat was born April 15, 1943 in Shamrock-Brave, PA and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 46 years moving from PA. He was a veteran of the US Army and had served in Germany. Pat retired from Ford Motor Company as a Quality Control Inspector after 33 years. After retirement, he enjoyed working at Rivers Bend R.V. Campground and Marina. He was a member of the Shrine and a member of Ely Masonic Lodge # 424 in Vermilion, VFW 7576, AMVETS Post 22, and the American Legion Post 29. He is survived by his brother "Big Mike" Cumberledge of Lorain; sisters, Sue Schriver of Wadestown, WV, and Ann Cook of Fairview, WV; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Denny T. and Bertha (nee Willard) Cumberledge and sister-in-law, Carol Cumberledge. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. The Vermilion Veteran Council will conduct military honors at 1 pm, followed by a Masonic Service and a funeral service. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
