Patsy J Binkley

Patsy J. Binkley (nee Rice), 91, of Vermilion, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at her home.

She was born December 23, 1934, in Columbia, PA, and had been a Vermilion resident for more than 20 years, moving from Northwest, Ohio.

Earlier in life, Patsy worked at several garment and shoe factories. However, her greatest joy and accomplishment was caring for her family as a dedicated homemaker. She cherished the time she spent with those she loved.

Patsy enjoyed quilting, crocheting, working on crossword puzzles, and playing cards. She was especially competitive when it came to cards and was known to play to win! Most of all, she treasured spending time with her family and watching her family grow through the generations.

She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Earl O. Binkley of Vermilion; her son, Patrick (Sheila) Binkley of Indiana; daughters, Barbara Evans of Vermilion, Cynthia (Louis) Watkins of Fostoria, Diane (Wes) Featherston of Vermilion, and Pamela (Rodney) Day of Fostoria; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Joan Segesser and Linda (Lester) Paris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. and Beatrice (nee Wehner) Rice; daughter, Debbie Binkley; brothers, James, Michael, and John Rice; sisters, Arlene Grolf, Mary Ann Gessey and Carol Reisinger; and grandchildren, Randall D. Rathburn and Andi Day.

Private family services will be held.
