Paul V Forrider

Paul V. Forrider, 46, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at his home after a sudden illness. Paul was born December 14, 1967 in Lorain, OH, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 10 years moving from Elyria. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Gulf War. Paul worked for US Tsubaki, Sandusky as a material handler for the past three years, and was an over the road truck driver before that. He was an avid KISS and Cleveland Browns fan. Paul enjoyed assisting with the coaching of his daughter's softball games, cars, especially Mustangs, and spending time with his family playing games and cards. Paul is survived by his wife, Tammie (nee Swiger) Wells; daughters, Carol Forrider of Elyria, Nicole (John) Britton of Grafton, and Allison Wells at home; son, Nicolas (fiancée Becca) Wells of Vermilion; : step mother, Bernice "Bunny" Forrider of Vermilion; 3 granddaughters; brothers, Thomas Forrider of Grafton, Robert Forrider of Cleveland, and Carl Forrider; step brothers, David Lewis of PA and Eric Lewis of Westlake. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Carol (nee Foster) Forrider. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 from 1:00 pm until the time of the Military Honors presented by the Vermilion Veterans Council at 4:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. Funeral services will immediately follow the military honors with Reverend Cliff Morris will officiate.
