Paul G. Glova, 82, of Huron, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Providence Care Center in Sandusky after a lengthy illness.
Born on July 29, 1942, in Fairbanks, Pennsylvania, Paul made Huron his home for the past 15 years after relocating from New Philadelphia, Ohio.
He dedicated 32 years of service to the Ford Motor Company in Lorain, where he worked in the quality control department before retiring in 1995.
A true outdoorsman, Paul found joy in nature-hunting, fishing, gardening, and cooking were among his greatest passions.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Cynthia (Dennis) Reynolds of Birmingham, and Christina Romero of Amherst; grandchildren, Joshua and Jonathan Bowen, Angelica and Gilbert P. Romero, Rachel, Apryl, and Paul Jr. Glova; 14 great-grandchildren; and his sister, JoAnn Sabato of Lewes, Delaware.
Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Sharon (née Alman) Glova; his parents, Joseph and Anna (née Franchak) Glova; his son, Paul J. Glova; and his son-in-law, Gilbert Romero.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 5:00 p.m. at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035.
