Paul A. Hering, 61, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 after a motorcycle accident. Paul was born November 19, 1950 in Lorain, OH, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 13 years moving from Lorain. He worked for Ford Motor Co., Lorain on the assembly line retiring after 37 years. He was a member of the UAW #425 and enjoyed working on his house, riding horses and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He is survived by his sons, Brian Paul Hering of Lorain and Adam E. Hering of Vermilion; father, William Frederick Hering of Punta Gorda, FL; one granddaughter on the way, Bryce Hering; brother, Dennis Hering of Punta Gorda, FL; sisters: Jeanette Hering of San Jose, CA; Lynette Masony of Avon Lake, twin sister Pauline Babich of Lorain, Linda Kinder of Vermilion; and Kimberly Hering of Lorain. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Ann (nee Howat) Hering, 2004 and his mother, Alvaretta C. (nee Sage) Hering in January of this year. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 1 until the time of a memorial service at 4 pm at the United Church of Christ Congregational, 990 State Street, Vermilion Ohio.The Reverend Bob Richardson and Troy Thompson will co-officiate.
