Paul Curtis McKinney, Jr., 53 of Lorain, died suddenly on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at his home. He was born January 2, 1955 in Charleston WV and has been a life long Vermilion area resident. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was the director of facilities management for Crothall Services Group for several hospitals. Paul was a former member of the Masons Ely Lodge #424. He enjoyed music, fishing, making model cars, camping, all out door activities. Survivors include his mother, Bonnie (nee Bragg) McKinney of Vermilion; son, Paul C. McKinney III of, Cincinnati; life long companion, Rose McKinney of Cincinnati; sisters: Dreama (Skip) Fisher of Amherst, Beth McKinney of Vermilion, Melody (Dave) Cromer of Chattanooga, TN; many nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his father Paul C. McKinney Sr. and sister, Cindy McKinney. A memorial service will be held at Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 10 am with the Reverend Donald Resecker, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Vermilion will be officiating. The Vermilion Veterans council will conduct military honors. Inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
