Peter B. Bateman

Peter B. Bateman, 90, of Vermilion, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a lengthy illness. He was born November 10, 1926 in Paris, France and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 46 years moving from MI and Canada. Peter was a veteran of the British Army. He worked in management in several factories. He was a member of the Squash Club in Vermilion Twp. and enjoyed reading. He is survived by his wife, Betty Bateman of Vermilion; son, Graham Bateman of Vermilion; and his sister, Joan Lidkie of Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Nita (nee Bagnall) Bateman and his brothers, Edward and John Bateman. Private Services will be held.
