Peter David Brainard

Peter Brainard, 55, of Oberlin, died suddenly Friday, May 12, 2017 at his home. Peter was born March 8, 1962 in Lorain, and had been an Oberlin resident since 1997. He had worked as a tool and die maker for Coley's Machine Shop. He loved fishing, hunting, motor cycles and mechanics. He is survived by his mother, Audrey Brainard of Vermilion; sisters, Jean (Ron) McGlothlin, Vermilion and Debra (Joseph) Johnson, Greenville, S. Carolina; brother, Mark Brainard (Sherry), Lorain and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Brainard and a brother, Douglas. Services will be private.
