Phillip Presutto Sr., 82, of Amherst, died Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Main Street Care Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born February 9, 1941 in Lorain, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for over 40 years, recently moving to Amherst.
Phillip was a veteran of the Army and graduated from Lorain High School in 1959 .
Phillip worked for Frito Lay as a route salesman for 35 years, he also worked for Neighborhood Alliance for 12 years delivering meals.
He was a member of the Bachelors Club in Lorain and the Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a Cleveland Sports fan and played the guitar in several bands. He enjoyed collecting coins and comic books.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dorothy "Dottie" (nee Allinson) Presutto, children, Raequel Kreig, Phillip (Jaye) Presutto, Jr., Lisa (Roy) Nelsen-Woods, Amy (Scott) Lence, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brother, David (Joyce) Presutto, and his sister, Sue (Dan) Coates.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Helen (nee Yeager) Presutto; and an infant sister, Amy Presutto.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.The Reverend Mikayla Doepker will officiate.
