Phyllis Ann Evans

Phyllis Ann Evans (nee Tackett), aged 81, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Samaritan Care Center following an extended illness. Born on June 25, 1942, in Catlettsburg, KY, Phyllis had been a resident of Vermilion for 56 years.

A devoted member of Lake Breeze Church of the Brethren in Sheffield, Phyllis found joy in both her travels and her gardening pursuits.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Donald L. (Emily) Tackett of Ashland, KY, Judy F. (Leonard "Jock") Pilarsh of Oberlin, Debra R. (Perry Mendoza) Santana of Lorain, and Pamela D. Fitzpatrick of Lorain, along with several nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Allen B. Evans, her parents Walter and Alpha (nee Yates) Tackett, and her brother Walter M. Tackett.
