Rachel Stone - Adkins

Rachel Stone-Adkins, 39, a loving wife, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend, was born early Sunday morning, April 13, 1986, and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday afternoon, November 5, 2025.

Rachel was fiercely loved by her husband, Mike Adkins; her parents, Leslie and Denise Stone; her brother, Bobby; and so many family and friends. She will remain the brightest light in their lives as she lives now in their hearts and minds.

Rachel was a member of Harbourtown Community Church. She enjoyed collecting beach glass, traveling, and volunteering at Friendship APL. She will always be remembered for her gentle spirit, her generosity, and her unwavering care for the people she loved.

Rachel left this world surrounded by her loving family after a hard-fought battle with breast cancer.

She is survived by her husband, Michael “Mike” Adkins; her fur babies, Zoey and Archer; her parents, Leslie and Denise (nee Bender) Stone; and her brother, Robert “Bobby” Stone, as well as numerous family and friends who love her and will miss her greatly. Rachel was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leslie and Nancy Stone, and Robert and Marilyn Bender; and her aunt, Latricia “Trish” Varney.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Seidman Cancer Center in support of families affected by cancer.
