Ralph N. Tremain, Jr.

Ralph N. Tremain, Jr., 75, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born December 23, 1942 in Amherst and had been a life long Vermilion resident. Ralph was a veteran of the US Army. He worked for the City of Vermilion for over 30 years, retiring as the operator of the Sewer Department. Ralph enjoyed playing the guitar, painting, photography, traveling, golfing, theater, civil war reenactments, Renaissance festivals, and archery. He is survived by his sister, Patricia (David) Cooper of Vermilion and his nephews, Michael, Terry, and Ted Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph N. Sr. and Geraldine (nee Johannsen) Tremain. Private family services will be held. The family suggests memorial contributions to the donors choice.
